Before You Swim!

Listed below are our general policies and procedures.

  • MMSD and MSCR affirm the right of individuals to use facilities that align with their gender identify. If you would like access to an alternative changing location, please ask the Site Director.
  • Please remove and carry street shoes with you to the spectator area or leave them in the locker rooms.
  • Due to space constraints, strollers are not allowed on the pool deck.
  • If you are participating in a Child + Adult program, only one (1) adult may accompany the child in the lesson.
  • Showers must be taken before entering the water and long hair should be tied back or secured with a swim cap.
  • No food or drinks besides water are permitted in the pool area. Additionally, glass containers are prohibited.
  • Pool temperatures and maintenance are regulated by the MMSD maintenance departments, not MSCR. The maintenance department attempts to maintain the High School water temperature at 79° or higher, depending on the season.
  • In the event that a class session is canceled, participants will be compensated accordingly.
