MASTERS SWIM: Masters swim is a program designed to provide a structured workout environment for swimmers of any fitness and skill level. Derek Scheer provides workouts varying from emphasizing endurance and building fitness to speed work and stroke development.  Participants should be able to swim 500 yards non-stop.  All swimmers must register through MSCR prior to attending class, no drop ins are allowed.  
 

Aqua Aerobics

SHALLOW WATER: The ‘coolest’ way to increase flexibility, muscle strength and endurance. You do not need to be a swimmer to participate in this shallow water class. Teens age 10-17 may register with an adult participant.

 

DEEP WATER: Ready to go into the deep end? This is the perfect class to burn calories. We provide the flotation belts but, you should feel comfortable in deep water prior to registering. Teens age 13-16 may register with an adult participant.

 

Teen/Adult

This class orients you to the aquatic environment so you feel comfortable in the water. Learn basic swim strokes and water safety techniques. Advanced and intermediate swimmers work on refining strokes.

 

Open/Lap Swims

Lap swimming is a great way to stay fit, and perfect if you are training for an upcoming event. MSCR offers open swims at indoor locations year-round. View our current Open Swim Schedule.
