Soccer Summer Camp Program Leader – Summer 2024
Program Description:
MSCR Soccer Camps are week long in length and have a part day or full day option. For full day camp soccer is emphasized in the morning and outdoor camp activities are played in the afternoon.
Job Description & Duties:
Guide and instruct a range of soccer activities for a wide range of playing ability and age groups in a day camp setting. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere while working together with peers to plan camp activities. Program leaders are expected to lead a group of 5-10 pre-school – elementary aged participants in instruction and small-sided games.
Program Dates: 6/17/24 – 8/9/24
- Locations Kennedy Elementary
- Start Date 06/10/2024
- End Date 08/09/2024
- Hours a Week:
Part-time (20 hrs/week) or Full-time (40 hrs/week).
- Work Hours:
8:30 am-12:30 pm or 4:30 pm.
- Pay Rate:
$15 per hour.
- Minimum Qualifications:
Soccer playing background with experience in youth leadership.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a sports instructor/coach, childcare, or related field.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to serve as a positive role model, mentor, and team member.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
