Middle School Soccer Referee
Program Description:
Join our Soccer Staff as a Middle School referee for our after-school games starting this Fall! Our recreational soccer program aims to provide a positive & supportive playing environment for middle school soccer players of all playing abilities.
Job Description & Duties:
Administer and uphold general rules of the game.
Create a positive playing environment for the players, coaches and spectators.
Program Dates: Mid September – Mid October, 2024
Work Location: Various Middle Schools on East/North and West side of Madison.
- Locations Varies
- Start Date 09/16/2024
- Hours a Week:
2-10 hours per week.
- Work Hours:
4:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
- Pay Rate:
Starts at $17.00 per hour, higher based on prior experience & knowledge of the game.
- Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to stand and run for long periods of time.
Referee certification is NOT required.
Understand and communicate the rules of soccer.
Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Communicate effectively with players and coaches during game. - Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Soccer Playing/Refereeing/Coaching Experience is preferred but NOT mandatory to apply!
