Youth Volleyball Instructor
Program Description:
Volleyball Skills classes teach the basic skills and fundamentals of the sport for participants 6 years old up to 14 years old.
Job Description & Duties:
Youth Volleyball Instructors are expected to plan and lead a group of Elementary and Middle school participants in the instruction of the basic skills and fundamentals of the sport.The emphasis is on skill building, fun, fitness, making new friends, sportsmanship and learning the sport. As a Youth Volleyball Instructor, you are responsible for promoting this atmosphere while keeping play safe and fun.

- Hours a Week:
3-5 hours per week.
- Work Hours:
5:30pm-8:30pm.
- Pay Rate:
$17 per hour.
- Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with the sport of volleyball, typically from high school and post secondary experience.
Experience in youth leadership.
Ability to communicate effectively, and exercise good judgment, courtesy, and tact when dealing with children, their parents/guardians, and the public.
Previous experience working with elementary and/or middle school aged children. - Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent ability to understand and communicate the fundamentals and rules of Volleyball.
Self-directed and motivated to create and develop engaging plans. - Other Information:
