MSCR and Madison Parks Team Up to Fill Summer Positions at Hiring Fairs
MADISON, WI – Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) and Madison Parks are teaming up to host a series of hiring fairs aimed at filling seasonal summer positions across a variety of engaging roles. The fairs will offer immediate interviews and opportunities spanning arts and enrichment, outdoor pursuits, fitness, sports and swimming.
The collaborative effort seeks to bolster summer programming and provide valuable employment opportunities for the community. The first hiring fair will be held on Wednesday, March 12, from 4 pm to 7 pm at MSCR West, 7333 West Towne Way.
MSCR and Madison Parks are offering competitive starting hourly wages ranging from $15 to $20 for positions including camp counselors, maintenance laborers, fitness instructors, sports coaches and lifeguards.
“MSCR is excited to team up with Madison Parks again this year to co-host summer employment hiring fairs. We know that in both Parks and in recreation work, our staff make a huge impact on the Madison community.,” said Laura Whitmore, MSCR Operations Manager. “We are proud of the fact that many people choose to work at MSCR by sharing their own passions in recreation and the arts, to have fun all the while building their own skills through supported, targeted training and hands-on experience.”
